ABOUT THE ROLE

At Modyo, the role of the Solutions Architect has at least 10 years of experience and plays a crucial function in designing customized technical solutions, following the reference architecture proposed by our platform. The main responsibility of this role is to identify the most suitable technologies and tools available to efficiently meet the requirements and objectives of clients throughout the digital product lifecycle.
The Solutions Architect closely collaborates with internal teams, providing guidance and technical advice to achieve a successful and high-quality implementation. Additionally, they suggest improvements in processes and available technologies for application development. The Solutions Architect works in conjunction with Solutions Delivery Managers, Head of Services, and sales teams in scoping, timelines, resource allocation, risk management, changes, and technical debt throughout the entire digital product lifecycle to ensure overall effective management.
The Solutions Architect collaborates closely with various stakeholders within the client organization, ensuring a solution that meets specific technical, functional, and non-functional requirements with a strong understanding of the business and organizational goals.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Software Architecture: Deep understanding of software architecture design principles and patterns. Ability to design scalable, modular, and highly available systems.
  • Web and Mobile Technologies: Good understanding of technologies used in the development and deployment of web, mobile, and PWA applications. This includes communication protocols, security, programming languages, frameworks, and advanced libraries. General knowledge of SEO, event tagging, and metrics.
  • Backend Development: Knowledge of programming languages, development frameworks and tools, version control, deployment, among others.
  • Authentication/Authorization: Theoretical and practical knowledge of authentication protocols, especially OpenID Connect, and Identity Provider tools such as Azure AD, Okta, Auth0, RedHat SSO, among others.
  • Cloud Services: Knowledge of cloud infrastructure services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform to leverage their advantages and design scalable and secure solutions.
  • Database and Data Storage: Good knowledge of relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, among others, to design efficient data management and storage solutions.
  • System Integration: Understanding of how to integrate different systems and technologies to design solutions that seamlessly integrate with existing and third-party systems. This may include integrating APIs, web services, and enterprise systems.
  • Information Security: Solid knowledge of information security principles and best practices to protect sensitive customer systems and data.
  • Development Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, as well as knowledge of best practices in software development project management.
  • Communication and Leadership Skills: In addition to technical knowledge, a Solutions Architect must have strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external teams and clients, both technical and non-technical, and lead and guide technical teams in solution implementation. Teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • Requirements Analysis: Ability to analyze and understand client functional and non-functional requirements. Skills to break down and translate business and technical requirements into viable technical solutions. Ability to evaluate options, negotiate, and recommend suitable solutions to meet client objectives.
  • Risk Management: Ability to identify and evaluate possible risks associated with solution implementation. Development of strategies and solutions to ensure project continuity.
  • Problem Solving: Skills to effectively solve technical challenges. Ability to identify and address technical obstacles, make informed decisions, and provide practical solutions.
  • Customer Orientation: Ability to understand customer needs and expectations, and collaborate with them to find the best technical solutions. Customer-oriented mindset and ability to build strong relationships with clients.
