Arccos Golf is building a centralized analytics foundation to empower data-driven decisions across multiple domains. The project centers on creating canonical data marts in Snowflake that consolidate raw data from various connectors (Fivetran, webhooks, API dumps) into a unified analytics layer. You will own the end-to-end build-out of canonical layers across 4–5 domains: Subscriptions/Billing (Stripe + BlueSnap), Commerce (Shopify, Amazon), Marketing Spend (Google Ads, Facebook Ads), and Web Analytics. The work includes designing semantic models, developing robust data quality checks, and delivering a scalable DATA_MART schema with comprehensive LookML models/explores. You’ll collaborate with a US-based team daily, ensuring data reliability, performance, and accessibility for analytics across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of canonical data layers atop raw connector data in Snowflake.
Architect and optimize dimensional models to support analytics across multiple business domains.
Build and maintain semantic/LookML models, explores, and derived tables to enable self-serve analytics.
Develop data tests, validation frameworks, and reconciliation checks to ensure data accuracy and trustworthiness.
Collaborate with data engineering and business teams to translate requirements into scalable data solutions.
Provide documentation, data dictionaries, and SLAs for data products.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to own the data centralization initiative and canonical layer construction.
Responsibilities include building canonical datasets in Snowflake (DATA_MART schema), implementing LookML models/ Explores, and establishing data quality and reconciliation mechanisms.
The role requires strong Snowflake capabilities, production Looker experience, data architecture expertise, and proficiency with ELT tooling (Fivetran or similar).
Daily collaboration with a US-based team; English fluency is a must for effective communication.
Contract duration: 6–8 weeks with potential extension.

Nice to Have

Experience with Great Expectations or data quality frameworks.
Prior work with subscription/billing data models (Stripe, Chargebee).
E-commerce data modeling (Shopify, Amazon Seller Central).
Experience with ad platform data (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
