Ghost is building the GTM intelligence layer for the AI era — stitching together 150+ data sources, enrichment waterfalls, ICP scoring, and AI-native workflows via MCP (Model Context Protocol). We're revenue-funded with paying enterprise customers. The team is currently the founder (10-year enterprise sales veteran, self-taught engineer) and you'll be the first engineering hire. You'll work directly with the founder daily via Slack and weekly Zoom calls.

Take rough features shipped by the founder and make them production-ready across the full stack. This includes hardening MCP server endpoints and API routes for enterprise reliability, polishing a Next.js web application (UI, data-heavy dashboards), writing tests, improving error handling, fixing edge cases, performance optimization for data-intensive operations (enrichment pipelines, account scoring), and refactoring rough implementations into maintainable code. High autonomy, direct collaboration with the founder.
4+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong current proficiency in TypeScript and React/Next.js. Strong working knowledge of Supabase (Postgres, auth, realtime) and Vercel deployments. Experience working remotely with US-based teams or clients. Strong English communication — written Slack fluency is essential. An eye for detail and strong opinions about code quality. Comfort working in a fast-moving codebase where things change weekly.
Experience with AI/LLM application development. Familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or building tool-use interfaces for AI agents. Experience with Prisma or Drizzle ORMs. Background in SaaS or enterprise B2B products. Experience with Tailwind CSS.
$60,000 USD/year, paid monthly via Wise. Work that ships to real enterprise customers immediately. Full-stack exposure across APIs, MCP infrastructure, and a production web app. A clear path to a long-term role as Ghost scales. Flexible daily schedule with ~4-5 hours of overlap with US Pacific time. 3-month initial engagement with intent to extend.
