SA Expeditions is a curated travel technology company building an elevated marketplace for independent travel designers and global suppliers. As a Senior Frontend/UX Engineer, you’ll join a focused team (PM, Tech Lead, Solutions Architect) to lead the front-end evolution of the product experience. You’ll shape interfaces that remove admin drag and empower designers to scale earnings, delivering high-performance, luxury experiences across multiple platforms.

What You’ll Build

Lead the frontend evolution of a curated marketplace, delivering fast, accessible, and visually luxurious interfaces.
Own the Quoting Tool, a high-speed dashboard for itinerary creation and booking management.
Develop the DMC Portal for global suppliers to confirm services and manage digital invoicing with precision.
Craft dynamic, client-facing itinerary delivery experiences that elevate perceived value and satisfaction.
Architect and maintain a scalable design system, prioritizing reusability and performance.
Collaborate with Solutions Architects to integrate complex APIs and financial logic, while maintaining a strong focus on UX and cognitive load.

Who You Are

You are a UX-first engineer who thinks beyond specs—prioritizing user cognitive load, ergonomics, and delightful micro-interactions. You excel as a component architect, building scalable, reusable design systems that accelerate delivery. You possess a refined eye for luxury aesthetics and understand that look and feel are core to travel product value. You can translate complex data (e.g., Lead Score, Margin Analysis) into clear, actionable visuals for designers. You work well with cross-functional teams, especially Solutions Architects, and you thrive in a fast-paced, research-driven environment with a passion for shipping high-quality frontend experiences.

Desirable

5+ years of professional frontend experience with strong UI/UX design skills. Proficiency with Figma and translating designs into pixel-perfect, responsive code. Experience handling complex state and nested data (multi-city, multi-day itineraries). Performance optimization for global users and a collaborative mindset to integrate APIs and financial logic. A portfolio demonstrating luxury, high-fidelity interfaces in the travel domain is a plus.
