• Maintain a vision for the product and the company, based on your research of customers, competitors, and analysts.
• Communicate the vision and roadmap with stakeholders, customers, and analysts.
• Take in input from stakeholders such as customers, Sales, Sales Engineers, Product Marketing, company executives and prioritize roadmap items, feature requests, and bug fixes.
• Manage execution on each Engineering sprint, working with Engineering to articulate clearly requirements and monitor progress throughout the sprint.
• Collaborate with existing and future partners and formulate integration strategies and solutions.
• Drive execution inline with the company’s rapid growth in customers.
• Create and maintain metrics to measure the success of your product in delivering value to customers.

• Data driven: You must possess a high level of data literacy to build a strategic product plan that addresses all aspects of the product life cycle: initial requirements gathering, competitive positioning, design, development, packaging, pricing, launch and continuous improvement.
• Detail orientation: You need to keep track of individual feature requests and bug fixes, know the product inside and out and have detailed knowledge of what stories on which sprints will fix a key bug reported by a critical customer. You are an expert at preventing critical details from falling through the cracks.
• Great communicator: You must be able to speak and write well in English. Writing succinctly is essential for creating clear requirements for Engineering. You must also convince others and advocate for your point of view but be capable of gathering input from others. Listening is as important for communication as speaking.
• Curiosity: You must possess an ongoing curiosity about topics relevant to your job and always ask questions such as, Where is the market going? What do customers really need? What makes a good product? What makes a good requirement? Never stop learning.
• Judgment: As a Product Owner at ZeroFox you will be responsible for critical decision making impacting all areas of the company's strategy and direction, as such you will be expected to demonstrate excellent judgment when committing company resources.
• Leadership: When something needs to be done, the Product Owner is often the catalyst to go and do it. You must work with others at multiple levels, including executives, to bring your vision to reality. You must inspire others with your understanding of customer needs and your vision for the marketplace.
• Technical: You must have an avid interest in learning new technologies and readily understand new APIs and competitive products.
• Familiarity with Agile and scrum methodology, direct experience working with scrum development teams.

• Knowing one or a few programming languages (Python, Ruby, Perl, Java, Go, etc.) and being comfortable with APIs and databases will be useful, but not essential, in the role.
• Security Experience: Domain experience in information security (network, endpoint, etc) is very helpful as you will more quickly understand our customer’s problem space.
• CSPO qualification is helpful but not required.
