Under this mission, Wenco has developed an integrated suite of solutions to support the digital transformation of the mining industry. Fleet management, asset health, data analytics, and other technologies join together in the spirit of open interoperability to raise mine productivity and efficiency, lower routine costs, and establish a safe and smooth mining operation.

Wenco mine is building a new team. You will join a self-organizing, agile product development team that is working on Wenco's next generation Industrial Internet of Things (loT) platform for Machine Guidance in mining equipment, which allows improved control of the machine in relation to the intended or designed direction of travel, by collecting data from high precision GPS (GNSS), motion units and other devices to provide on-board systems with information about the movement of the machine in either 3, 5 or 7 axis of rotation.

Must Have

• You have 8+ years experience working as a software developer, developing and operating full stack applications for a commercial Software
• You have 4+ years contributing to system design and software architecture discussions.
• You are comfortable working in either C++, GoLang, Java, C# or Python
• You are able to work as a senior member of a team, including being a mentor for less experienced software developers in your team, performing code reviews, designing software components and facilitating scrum events
• You enjoy working in an environment where you are learning new technologies and new concepts and solving complex problems with your team.

Education & Eligibility

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering OR equivalent years of work experience
• Must be eligible to work in Chile
• This role may require some travel to customers sites or international Wenco offices (<10%)

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
• You have prior experience in embedded systems and/or mobile systems and/or resource-constrained environments.
• You have prior experience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) applications
• Experience and/or knowledge of the mining industry.

• Optional 9/80 schedule, allowing you to work 9 days and have one additional day off
