We are in the midst of launching several new features and scaling our platform to accommodate a rapidly growing user base. Our key challenges involve ensuring our system's scalability, performance, and reliability as we expand. As a result, we need a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer who can lead architectural decisions, and contribute directly to critical parts of our system to help us meet these ambitious goals.

Job functions

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer at Interview Now, you will play a central role in leading the development and implementation of our core platform features. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including backend developers, frontend developers, designers, and DevOps engineers, to design and deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include driving critical architectural decisions, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the software development lifecycle adheres to industry best practices. Initially, you will focus on enhancing our existing systems, but as you grow into the role, you’ll be leading new projects and initiatives that will directly impact our product's evolution and success.

Qualifications and requirements

You should have a minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of leading technical projects and mentoring team members. This position requires extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development, particularly with technologies such as Ruby, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. Additionally, you should be proficient in software architecture and design patterns, ensuring that the systems you develop are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with our business goals.

Given the leadership aspect of this role, strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will be expected to inspire and motivate a team, drive a culture of innovation, and make strategic decisions that impact the company’s technological direction. We value autonomous, proactive individuals who can manage their work effectively, meet deadlines without supervision, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Desirable skills

While not required, experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or NextJS would be a strong advantage and could significantly enhance your ability to contribute to our projects. Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), would also be highly beneficial, as it aligns with our focus on automation and streamlining our development processes. Additionally, prior experience working in a SaaS startup environment or on products within the HR tech space could set you apart by providing valuable insights into the industry’s unique challenges and opportunities.

Conditions

At Interview Now, we believe in rewarding our team members for their hard work and dedication. We offer a competitive salary and an annual performance bonus that reflects our commitment to your success. Additionally, we provide stock options, giving you the opportunity to share in the company’s growth and success.

Se ofrece equity en la empresa Este cargo incluye participación accionaria (stock options o similar) como parte de la compensación.
Bono por desempeño Existen pagos adicionales al sueldo especificado si se cumplen objetivos.
