Job functions

Collaborate with industry experts across security, machine learning, digital risk protection, and cyber threat intelligence to develop cutting-edge machine learning solutions for the ZeroFox platform.
Help define machine learning roadmaps and projects for your team.
Design, develop, and deploy advanced machine learning models for natural language processing and computer vision applications, to enhance the lives of our customers while making the internet a safer place.
Evaluate and improve the accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of existing ML models.
Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP and computer vision techniques to integrate them into our solutions.
Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to integrate ML models into the ZeroFox platform.
Analyze and preprocess large, diverse datasets, ensuring the quality and integrity of the data used for model training and evaluation.
Maintain clear and well-documented code to ensure long-term sustainability and smooth collaboration with other team members.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, and ensure your team’s growth and success.

Qualifications and requirements

Motivated, communicative, teamwork-oriented leader who is comfortable working in agile environments and is able to learn and adapt quickly
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, math, physics, or a related field, OR equivalent education or experience
Machine learning experience, typically a minimum of 5 years
Team and/or project leadership experience, typically a minimum of 2 years
Proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar machine learning frameworks
Proficiency in Python
Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms

Desirable skills

Strong knowledge of NLP techniques, including but not limited to tokenization, parsing, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, and named entity recognition.
Strong knowledge of computer vision techniques such as object detection, segmentation, image classification, and OCR.
Strong applied knowledge of statistics
Familiarity with deep learning and/or reinforcement learning
Familiarity with model fine tuning
Familiarity with good software engineering practices
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
