What is Forest?

What are you going to do?

- Join the development of Forest’s end-user application built with Flutter framework, used daily by thousands of users to rent bikes in London every day.
- Lead, guide and mentor a team of highly skilled Flutter developers.
- Engage with technical and product managers to plan and coordinate future developments.
- Drive and implement technical enhancements for the app.
- Keep track of technical metrics and user feedback to drive improvements.
- Collaborate with managers, designers, and other engineers in the concept, design, development and testing processes.
- Deliver high quality code.
- Learn the latest mobile technologies and standards to ensure we are always using the best techniques possible.

What are we looking for?

- 10+ years of combined experience as Android/iOS + Flutter Developer.
- Proven software development experience.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
- Experience with third-party libraries and RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency with Git.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Knowledge of a state management system.

Bonus

- Experience leading and guiding mobile development teams.
- Experience with TDD and testing in general.
- Exposure to cloud-based solutions in AWS and GCP.
- Knowledge in Platform channels.
- Have your own package or plugin or know how to create one.
- Knowledge in BLOC.
- Experience deploying applications to the stores through some CI/CD.
- Routing and dependency injection management with Modular.
- Experience with feature tags and A/B testing.
