• Design, develop, and maintain a scalable data pipeline to ingest and store cyberthreat metadata in MongoDB.
• Implement data transformation processes to ensure data quality and integrity within the MongoDB database.
• Develop and optimize queries and indexes to support efficient data retrieval and analysis.
• Create and maintain an authenticated internal API to expose versioned data stored in MongoDB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including cybersecurity analysts, software engineers, and product managers to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Implement best practices for data security, including encryption and access control mechanisms, within MongoDB.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of data services.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data engineering and MongoDB technology, proposing and implementing improvements to existing data infrastructure.

• 3-5 years of proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on MongoDB.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Strong expertise in MongoDB, including data modeling, schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs and authentication mechanisms for data access.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts and familiarity with handling cyberthreat metadata is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in troubleshooting data-related issues.
• Effective communication skills to convey technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
