How many people are needed to create an application that simplifies the purchase of food from users? At least 600, because that’s the number of people who are part of our team of engineers, who work in different countries in South and North America. The engineering team is dedicated to producing intuitive technology for customers, buyers and stores, and to solving the challenges that arise along the way.

Cornershop has thousands of scale challenges so you can apply creativity, skill and experience to participate in the creation of optimization tools for different internal processes and propose improvements.

Our engineering team is dedicated to producing intuitive technology for customers, Shoppers and stores, and solving challenges along the way. We are looking for our next BI Engineer, to take part in creating reports, as well as processing and analyzing data for the company.

What will you do:

• Maintain a line of communication with our internal customers to understand their information needs and propose solutions.
• Develop dashboards that facilitate decision making in different areas of the company.
• Define new KPIs to analyze and monitor operational aspects for improvement proposals.

• Advanced SQL skills. Ideally, you have experience working with Postgres or Amazon Redshift.
• Advanced knowledge of visualization tools, preferably Tableau.
• The ability to communicate in English, both written and conversational.

• Have experience interacting with the Backend (understand how data is defined).
• Are familiar with GIT.
• Have worked with Google Analytics.
• Are not afraid to make decisions and lead projects.
• Work proactively, responsibly, and creatively.
• Embrace diversity, multiculturality and are open-minded.
