Team Description

We’re looking for the lead for our newest team : New Business and Products, we are planning to grow our merchant base, so we need to build and grow the sales channel for this new type of merchants from scratch, to increase the sales of our card readers and other products from Arica to Tierra del Fuego.

What you’ll do

• You will design the sales strategy and execution of the newly created direct sales team.
• You will manage the team of executives, track the KPI and help them to improve.
• You will assess what would be the right profile and training necessary for the executives
• You will work with different stakeholders (Finance, Brand and coms, other Sales teams) within Sumup to design and implement new business processes that will have impact on our Merchants and their experience ​​
• You’ll work with distributed teams in Brazil and Europe to learn from their experiences and have their support iterating on different ideas.
• You will foster a collaborative culture between areas and within the team.

You’ll be great for this position if

• You have at least 2+ years of experience leading sales teams.
• You’re a doer, and or not afraid of beginning a project from scratch.
• You have a structured approach to ambiguity - dealing with uncertainties is exciting for you and you can easily structure the unstructured.
• You have strong analytical skills.
• You have fluent English skills.

• You have worked in or for fintechs or startups.
