Role Overview and Responsibilities

As the Account Manager / Order Fulfillment Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for managing and overseeing high-value client accounts on the order fulfillment platform. Your main goal is to ensure that orders are accurately processed and routed to the appropriate vendors, with tracking of fulfillment workflows until completion. You will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy of order details, managing escalations related to product or delivery issues, and working closely with internal teams to resolve challenges swiftly. This role requires a proactive, detail-focused individual who can autonomously manage daily operations and contribute to refining processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Manage vendor-side accounts and maintain high-value client relationships.
  • Review, edit, and approve incoming orders placed through the platform.
  • Coordinate order routing to vendors and oversee the entire fulfillment workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via email and Slack to provide updates and resolve issues.
  • Handle escalations such as delivery delays or product defects with internal support teams.
  • Maintain meticulous accuracy across all order documentation and details.
  • Ensure timely execution of all project milestones and deliverables.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and operational efficiencies.

Required Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience in account, project, or order management, preferably in a B2B environment. Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are crucial for managing client relationships and cross-functional team collaborations. Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential to manage complex workflows with accuracy and timeliness. You should be comfortable working independently in a dynamic and fast-paced remote setting while maintaining a high degree of professionalism. Experience related to merchandise, supply chain, or production processes will significantly enhance your ability to succeed in this role. Familiarity with standard workplace collaboration tools such as Google Workspace and Slack is expected. Additionally, availability to work within US time zones is mandatory to align with client needs and internal operations.
Your soft skills should include problem-solving aptitude, proactive communication, adaptability, and the ability to handle escalated issues calmly and effectively. You should demonstrate a strong customer service mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and process enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications and Extras

While not required, having working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and/or Illustrator is advantageous, especially when coordinating with vendors on branded merchandise or promotional product workflows. Familiarity with the nuances of merchandise production cycles and supply chain logistics will help in anticipating and managing potential issues effectively. Experience working in startup environments or with international teams will be considered a strong plus.
