We are looking for a talented lead developer who can not only execute current initiatives, but can also provide technical leadership, expertise, and oversight for the company.

We are looking for someone who likes to solve business problems, so the ideal candidate will have both technical expertise, and a creative mindset that results in innovative, scalable solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

• Use technology to innovate the way the travel industry connects

• Improve our booking system and search engine

• Implement key design and UX changes

• Propose ideas for growth and automation

• Represent the technological agenda in staff meetings

• Maintain current knowledge of technology landscape and developments

• Consolidate our technology platforms and create plans for each - this includes connecting and improving operations and marketing platforms

• Track, analyze. and monitor technology key performance metrics

• Identify new digital marketing opportunities and create plans to implement them for us and our clients

• Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity

• Oversee all system design and changes in system architecture

• Build the new Keteka website and web app

Required profile and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or minimum 5 years experience software development

• Languages and Frameworks Front End:

  • JavaScript - Jquery

  • Html5

  • CSS, Sass y Bootstrap

  • Javascript Frameworks (Angular, React, etc.)

• Languages and Frameworks Back End:

  • PHP

  • Experience using Node

  • Significant experience with Wordpress

• Experience using: GITHUB, SourceTree

• Experience and knowledge of:

  • Servers, networks, and AWS

  • How to interact with APIs

  • UI and UX

  • Load Balancing

• At least conversational in English. Fluent in both English and Spanish would be a plus. We speak English in the office and the interview will 100% in English.

• Experience building booking engines would be a plus

• Knowledge of Ruby on rails, Django, Python

• Willing to travel internationally
