Front End Engineer Internship/New Grad en Axiom Zen

Axiom Zen is a venture design studio. We collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to turn ideas into companies. Our speciality is leveraging the latest in emerging technology to create high growth businesses and delightful experiences for millions of users. Our best practices-driven engineering team is committed to continuous deployment, continuous integration, and automated testing. 

Our recent works leverage React.js, Angular.js, Webpack, and Sass, as well as vanilla CSS and JavaScript. We also work with technologies such as Golang, Swift, Objective-C, Java, Python, and Lisp. 

This is initially a paid 4 month position. We are particularly interested in startup-minded developers who are open to the possibility of an extension or becoming an Axiom Zen employee. If you're talented, driven, and have amazing software development chops, Axiom Zen is the place for you to take your career to the next level. 

• Have cool projects to show us! You code for fun and are a true geek at heart. 
• Have a strong grasp of CS fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Are passionate about the web and excited to solve problems with web technologies.
• Have familiarity with agile software development methodologies including automated testing, pair-programming, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
• Have interest or knowledge of UX and UI design principles.
• Have the fire and hunger for continuous improvement and learning.
• Close to completing or have completed a BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or have equivalent experience.

You stand out because you have some of the following:

• Awesome, demo-able apps (especially ones that use modern technologies like React and ES6, and progressive CSS techniques).
• Familiarity and comfort with Git and GitHub, and have created or contributed to open source projects.
• REST API familiarity / expertise.
• Passion for performance optimization.
