UI Designer en Architonic ArchDaily

ArchDaily’s job is to improve the quality of life of the billions of people who will arrive in cities during the next decades by providing inspiration, knowledge and tools to the architects who will have the challenge to design for them. With more than 169 million monthly pageviews, we’re constantly developing and improving our apps and services.

Product & Developers Team at ArchDaily are core participants in every technological decision made in any of our platforms, either internal or public. They also participate in every step of the application’s lifecycle.

We are looking for a UI designer with experience in CSS and basic JS to join one of our teams, working together with 2 backend developers, 1 frontend developer and 1 product manager.

These are some must-have skills:

• Proficiency in Sketch
• Responsive CSS (cross-browser)
• Understanding about rendering and re-layout processes
• Basic usage of npm or yarn
• Git Flows

Nice-to-have:

• UX studies
• Vanilla JS, jQuery (cross-browser)
• Some HTML engines, like Haml, Slim or ERB.

The Designer work starts with a definition done with the Product Manager, who should provide the main mockups and ends with the final design of each feature.

If the Designer is able to code the HTML + CSS then he/she could help coding the design. It would be a plus :)
