IOS Developer en Sportafolio

Somos una Start Up peruana que busca conectar a la Comunidad Runners mediante nuestra aplicación y plataforma web, para incentivarlos a correr a través de Challenges que premian el esfuerzo de su actividad. Actualmente, estamos elaborando un equipo en Chile, ya que se replicará el giro de negocio en dicho país con el apoyo de la Universidad de Desarrollo.  El estilo de trabajo se basa en entregables que tienen una fecha determinada en coordinación con el jefe a cargo.

We are looking for a home-office iOS developer responsible for the development and maintenance of our mobile iOS application. Your primary focus will be the development of iOS applications and their integration with back-end services. The development team (based in Lima, Perú) is structured into backend developers, infrastructure engineers, android specialists, and a front-end web developer. The iOS version is behind the android version and we need someone responsible that keeps it up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Report weekly advances via conference calls

Skills

• Proficient with Swift
• Experience with iOS architecture frameworks
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications (Firebase)
• Familiarity with GIT tool
• Focused on benchmarking and optimization
