Axiom Zen’s best practices-driven engineering team is looking for talented and startup-minded iOS developers to join our growing team in Santiago, Chile.

We’re building hyper-fast prototypes, large-scale production apps, and the well-architected and scalable tooling to support these projects. Expertise in and passion for experimentation, product design, and architecture are vital.

Responsibilities

As an iOS Developer at Axiom Zen, you’ll be responsible for:

• Starting new projects

• Building apps following Agile development methodologies

• Working on multiple concurrent projects

• Validating new ideas (yours or others')

• Exploring new technologies

• Turning ideas into code

Most of the apps we work on have significant back-end/API components, so some familiarity with Golang or Node.js is a plus as well.

Does this describe you?

As an iOS Developer, you have a deep knowledge of mobile technology in general and iOS (iPhone and iPad) in particular, including iOS 10-specific development considerations. You also love building user-centric products that set new standards in usability and performance.

In addition, you are an iOS Developer with a firm grasp of UX and UI design principles and a demonstrated interest in working with new technologies and thinking outside the box.

You also have:

• A strong grasp of CS fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and design patterns

• Experience with Swift

• Experience shipping high quality code in a fast-paced mission-critical environment

• Proficiency with agile software development methodologies including automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous delivery

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
