How many people are needed to create an application that simplifies the purchase of food from users? At least 500, because that’s the number of people who are part of our team of engineers, who work in different countries in South and North America. The engineering team is dedicated to producing intuitive technology for customers, buyers and stores, and to solving the challenges that arise along the way.

Cornershop has thousands of scale challenges so you can apply creativity, skill and experience to participate in the creation of optimization tools for different internal processes and propose improvements.

At Cornershop we are looking for an Android Developer to join the team that develops the Apps used by hundreds of thousands of Shoppers and customers every day.

What will you do?

• Develop the Cornershop application used by shoppers and customers.
• Design and improve user interfaces.
• Diagnoses and fix critical bugs that can negatively impact the lives of hundreds of users.
• Redesign and refactor existing code.

• Understanding the Android SDK and its APIs.
• Knowledge of Android interface design principles.
• Experience working with the fragmentation of the Android ecosystem.
• Familiarity with interacting APIs
• Knowledge of Profiling and Debugging.
• Knowledge of Content Providers and ORMs.
